Amber has a book that I read to her and it is about a busy little bee. That book totally describes Amber and our weekend thus far.
Amber is now crawling and so she is everywhere! Her little chunky legs aren't so chunky anymore. I liked her little chunky legs :( However it is neat to see her move around and explore. Amber loves to explore and look at everything, she is my busy little bee!
Our weekend has been very busy and it's not over yet. Friday night was Ricky's brother's high school graduation. The graduation of course doesn't provide a nursery (but what a good idea if they did) so we were a little nervous at how Amber was going to do. And of course, we were sitting on the 3rd row! So everyone would see us get up a walk out with her if we needed to. Before it started she was really talkative and excited. We were a little worried. As soon as the speaker started speaking and it began she got silent :) I was amazed. It lasted for a little while and clapping for different things confused her so it made her silent then. She did have some moments of squeals and noises. Such a happy baby! But thank goodness for Gerber's puffs!! Those things did the trick when we needed her quiet. She probably ate about 20 of them! :)
Saturday we drove all the way to Enid Lake to spend the day with Ricky's family. They are camping and we thought about trying it but then we decided to just stay for the day. Amber as a trooper! She is definitely an outdoorsy little girl! Which I'm happy about because this family likes to camp! She did get a little messy, just with dirt and things stuck in between her little toes and just all over sticky. How little babies can be. Thankfully I had brought a little extra onsie with me so we gave her a bath before we headed home. She slept all the way home and then I just transferred her to the bed. Worked great! Today, Sunday, I think we are just going to church and then going to just chill. Have some downtime! But for tomorrow we are going to hang out with family again and go swimming and cook out!
Busy Little Bee, Busy Little Bee, That's Me!
