the loud sound the fireworks make, however Amber loved them! We went last night to the Starlight Spectacular at Bellevue to watch the fireworks. It would have been fun to picnic for the evening there but it was just waaaay to HOT, especially with a baby that is just now getting over being sick. So we went to the back of the parking lot around 8 with some friends to just watch the fireworks. Thankfully Amber really didn't so any signs of being tired. We were a little worried as to how she was going to react to the fireworks but she LOVED them. At some points she started waving her arms and then bouncing up and down. So I think its safe to say that the loud boom booms didn't bother our lil A. :)

Nerf Gun and Pork Rinds!
Can you guess what this title is all about?
It is the gifts that Ricky got for Father's Day! :)
Story behind the random gifts:
Ricky told me that at his work they guys randomly will pull out nerf guns and have little "wars." Well, Ricky didn't have one so he would just be the buffer of the "war", which wasn't very fun. So I was at the dollar store one day and notice a little tiny nerf gun and said I'll get him that, thinking it would work just fine. In the words of Ricky, "the gun shot about as far as the dollar bill used to pay for it :) " So then he was the comic relief for their little "wars." So to redeem myself I decided to buy him a big, normal nerf gun.
As for the pork rinds, Ricky just really likes them. One and my mom and I were at Sam's and saw a HUGE thing of them and I thought it was be funny to get them for him.

Teething
Our little sweetie pie has her two bottom teeth showing! Finally after 10 months we can see something! I still can't feel them but you can see them. It has been tough the past couple of days with napping and going to bed at night. I think it is so interesting that all the doctors say there aren't any signs of teething but mother's say differently. She has had a stuffed up or running nose the past week and like I said sleeping has been crazy. I don't know if she has had a fever to go along with it but I give her Tylenol anyway to help with her gums. We have had to put her to sleep again, which we haven't done in months. But tonight she only cried for my 10 min. and then we didn't hear her anymore. Hopefully we are getting back on track! Any moms out there have any advice about teething please share!!
