Shout Out to Nicholas Sparks!

So I am not a huge fan of reading. It is rare for me to sit down and read a book. However, Nicholas Sparks is a different story. I have read just about all of his books and I love reading them. I don't know if it the sappy love stories or that it is just easy reading but it works for me. Currently I am reading one of his latest books, "The Last Song."  And  it is a major motion picture coming out soon! If you liked the movie, "The Notebook", "Nights in Rodanthe" and "A Walk to Remember" then you would love the rest of his books.

Ready to Swim!

If I was made of money I think I would buy every infant bathsuit that Target has to offer! It was really hard figuring out which one I wanted to buy for Amber. Although there were some really cute one pieces I figured this is going to be one of the few years that I would let Amber wear a two piece :) So a two piece it was. Who knows years from now I might consider letting her wear a two piece but she will have to get that past her daddy too! She has a little bit of growing to do because its a tad big but give her a month or two and she will be ready to splash in the water. I can't wait!!!

Date Nights!

Although it really wasn't a true date night one might say, but it sure was nice. Tonight Ricky and I went out to Target to shop around and then to Starbucks to finish up the night. It was without our precious girl, Amber. She stayed back at her grandparents house and slept. We had put her to bed and off we went. It was the first time we had been out alone since we went on a date for our anniversary back in August, when my mom was there helping out when Amber was born!! That was 7 months ago!! I'm looking forward to having more date nights and maybe some weekend get aways with each other now that we have tons of babysitters!
