This weekend for me is a girls get away weekend! I'm so pumped! We are going to a spa and I'm getting my very first massage ever. On top of that its a prenatal massage which I heard is really good when you are pregnant. To make the deal even better it's completely free for me! My friend's husband for Christmas gave her as a gift a weekend get away to the spa and she could take 2 friends, as well as one spa treatment for each of us. I was one of the lucky girls picked to go with her! My two friends are getting mani's/pedi's but when I found out they had a prenatal massage I jumped all over that! So hopefully I will come back feeling all rejuvenated and relaxed.
I'm really starting to get excited about getting Amber's room put together. Soon I'm going to try and start washing all the clothes that I have for her so far so that will be less to do later.
Does anyone else have any tips/tricks in getting ready for your precious child to arrive?

Well let's see.. my tip for getting ready for my child to be here... wait... JUST KIDDING! :)
I have been told by several friends to go on several date nights when it gets real close to your due date.. because you may not get one for awhile! :)
:) Jenny for a second I was like "What?!?!" :) And yes that does sound like some good advice
I found that the things you do to get ready - i.e. washing clothes, getting the room ready, buying last minute items never took that long. Probably because of the nesting. I'm with Jenny - Go on those dates. I would suggest going to movies. After Amber is here, you'll still get to go out to eat a lot but you need a sitter to go to movies, so enjoy them now. (That is if you can enjoy it with going to the bathroom ever 5 minutes!)
I would also add to make sure that you get the car seat in the car before the arrival of Amber. At the hospital where Katie was born, I took a birthing class, and they offered to install the care seat for me and taught me how to do it properly.
